Specializing in dry-aged prime beef, tender chops, fresh fish and seafood, Neros is much more than just a steak house - although the steaks are superb. Each cut of Black Angus USDA certified prime beef provided by Creekstone Farms is dry-aged off-site for a minimum of 28 days before being transported to the restaurant for preparation. In addition to the beef, guests can also order dry-aged Strauss veal and Colorado lamb chops.
Raised in a Colombian kitchen in the heart of Hollywood, California, Daniel Waked learned early on what an important role food can play in the quality of one’s life. Daniel eventually became Sous Chef under Sean Griffin at Nero’s Steakhouse and assisted in modernizing and relaunching the menu. During the three years at this progressive steakhouse, Daniel helped to garner many prestigious culinary awards and was honored to support Chef Griffin at The James Beard House “Modern Steakhouse Dinner”. One afternoon Executive Chef Eric Damidot tapped on his shoulder and beckoned him to expand his body of experience by working within the various dining rooms of Caesars Palace. In doing so, Daniel was favored with entry into the upper echelons of dining.
These days, Daniel can again be found in the kitchen of Nero’s Steakhouse, this time at its helm as Chef de Cuisine. He continues to develop a menu that highlights seasonal ingredients and steakhouse classics which bear his unique mark and spirit.
Like all Caesars Palace gourmet restaurants, Neros offers an extensive wine list (which has been recognized by Wine Spectator magazine), customized for the restaurant and overseen by one of the property’s talented sommeliers.
